The Prince and the Dybbuk

A film journey in the footsteps of Michał Waszyński, author of many well-known pre-war films with Eugeniusz Bodo, director of the mystical filming of "Dybbuk", and producer of Hollywood hits with Sofia Loren and Claudia Cardinale. The film tries to unravel the mystery of Waszyński, who often wrote his own biography in his life. Some have remembered him as a distinguished aristocrat, the husband of an Italian countess, others mention him as a talented director, a brilliant producer with a homosexual identity.

"Książ i dybuk" received the Best Documentary Film Award in the Venice Classics section at this year's Venice International Film Festival.
